Connection Director

Reports To: Associate Pastor
Status: Full-Time  
Location: Main Street Campus, Frankenmuth, Michigan

Position Summary

The Connection Director helps create a warm, welcoming, and organized environment where people can connect within Frankenmuth Bible Church. This individual provides leadership to the church’s Welcome Teams, oversees guest communication and follow-up, and coordinates several important ministry and administrative processes.


The Connection Director serves as a visible presence on Sunday mornings while also providing strong weekday coordination for church communications, pastoral ministry needs, special events, scheduling, and volunteer support.


The ideal candidate is a relational and highly organized leader who loves people, develops volunteers, communicates clearly, and manages details with excellence.

Qualifications

Spiritual Qualifications

  • Demonstrates a growing and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • Exhibits Christlike character, humility, integrity, and spiritual maturity.

  • Affirms and supports the doctrine, mission, vision, values, and philosophy of the ministry of Frankenmuth Bible Church as an active member.

  • Possesses a genuine love for people and the local church.

Education & Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred due to the significant administrative responsibilities of the position.

  • Previous ministry, administrative, hospitality, communications, or volunteer leadership experience preferred.

  • Experience coordinating volunteers, events, communication, and organizational systems.

  • Familiarity with church management software, scheduling platforms, and digital communication tools is preferred.

  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Able to recruit, train, organize, and encourage volunteers.

Primary Responsibilities

Guest Experience and Communication

  • Help create a welcoming and relational experience for guests and attenders.

  • Oversee Connect Card follow-up and other guest communication.

  • Maintain accurate guest and engagement information within the church database.

  • Coordinate regular churchwide communications, including email and text updates.

  • Ensure the Connection Center and other guest-facing areas are organized, stocked, and prepared.

 

Welcome Team Leadership

  • Provide leadership and oversight to the Greeter, Usher, Connection, and Coffee Teams.

  • Recruit, onboard, train, schedule, and encourage volunteers and team leaders within the Connection Teams.

  • Maintain effective volunteer communication, training materials, schedules, and records.

  • Provide visible leadership to Welcome Team volunteers on Sunday mornings.

  • Cultivate a healthy, encouraging, and Christ-centered serving culture.

Ministry Coordination and Administration

  • Coordinate the administrative processes associated with weddings, funerals, prayer requests, and other pastoral ministry needs.

  • Manage the churchwide ministry calendar in collaboration with pastors, staff, and ministry leaders.

  • Provide administrative support for church ministries as assigned.

  • Answer and direct incoming church calls and communication appropriately.

Services and Special Events

  • Coordinate hospitality, volunteers, supplies, signage, and guest-facing details for special services and churchwide events.

  • Help prepare for Easter, baptisms, holidays, community outreach opportunities, and other significant gatherings.

  • Ensure Sunday morning environments and ministry spaces are prepared and welcoming.

  • Support the effective execution of events in collaboration with pastors, staff members, and volunteer leaders.

Vision & Alignment

  • Serve as a visible champion of the mission, vision, values, and culture of Frankenmuth Bible Church.

  • Work closely with the Associate Pastor, ministry staff, and volunteer leaders.

  • Help create an environment where people feel welcomed, known, and cared for.

  • Continually evaluate and strengthen the church’s guest experience, volunteer teams, and administrative systems.

  • Contribute to the overall health and effectiveness of Frankenmuth Bible Church.

Campus Pastor

Reports To: Lead Pastor  
Status: Full-Time  
Location: Initially based at the Main Street Campus in Frankenmuth, Michigan, with the expectation of helping launch and lead a future campus in a neighboring community.

 

Position Summary

The Campus Pastor serves as the primary pastor, preacher, and shepherd of a future Frankenmuth Bible Church campus. This individual will provide spiritual leadership, pastoral care, vision alignment, and teaching while helping advance the vision of Frankenmuth Bible Church: to see people connected, lives changed, and the church multiplied.

Prior to the launch of a future campus, the Campus Pastor will serve alongside the staff team at the Main Campus, helping prepare for the launch through leadership development, ministry involvement, relationship building, and strategic planning. Once launched, this individual will serve as the primary pastoral leader of the campus while remaining fully integrated and aligned with the broader mission, vision, doctrine, and leadership of Frankenmuth Bible Church.

The ideal candidate is a Godly and relational leader who demonstrates Christlike character, possesses strong pastoral instincts, communicates God's Word effectively, and has the ability to lead people, develop leaders, and shepherd a congregation.
 

Qualifications

Spiritual Qualifications

  • Demonstrates a growing and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • Meets the biblical qualifications for pastoral ministry outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.

  • Exhibits Christlike character, humility, integrity, and spiritual maturity.

  • Affirms and supports the doctrine, mission, vision, values, and philosophy of the ministry of Frankenmuth Bible Church.

  • Possesses a genuine heart for shepherding people and making disciples.

 

Education & Experience

  • Biblical and theological training is preferred.

  • Seminary education is desired but not a requirement.

  • Previous ministry experience is preferred.

  • Demonstrates a clear gifting for pastoral ministry and the ability to lead and shepherd others.

  • Experience in preaching, teaching, leadership development, discipleship, and pastoral care.

  • Gifted communicator with the ability to faithfully and effectively teach God's Word.

  • Strong relational skills and a genuine love for people.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and develop others.

  • Self-motivated and capable of leading through change and growth.

  • Alignment with the vision and strategy of a multi-site church model.

Primary Responsibilities

Preaching & Teaching

  • Serve as a primary preacher and teacher for the future campus.

  • Collaborate closely with the Lead Pastor and teaching team in the development and delivery of teaching series.

  • Communicate biblical truth in a clear, compelling, and culturally relevant manner.

  • Participate in teaching responsibilities across campuses as needed

 

Shepherding & Pastoral Care

  • Serve as the primary pastoral presence for the campus congregation.

  • Provide pastoral care, counseling, encouragement, and spiritual guidance.

  • Build meaningful relationships with attenders, members, volunteers, and leaders.

  • Foster a culture of discipleship, community, and spiritual growth.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Identify, recruit, train, and develop ministry leaders and volunteers.

  • Provide leadership and oversight to campus ministry staff teams.

  • Cultivate healthy ministry environments that align with the mission and values of Frankenmuth Bible Church.

  • Work alongside central ministry teams to ensure ministry effectiveness and consistency.

Campus Launch & Development

  • Participate in the planning and preparation of the future campus launch.

  • Help identify and develop launch team members.

  • Build relationships within the target community and region.

  • Assist in creating systems, structures, and ministry strategies necessary for a successful launch.

  • Champion the vision of church multiplication and campus expansion.

Vision & Alignment

  • Serve as a visible champion of the mission, vision, values, and culture of Frankenmuth Bible Church.

  • Maintain strong alignment with the Lead Pastor, Elders, and church leadership.

  • Help ensure doctrinal, philosophical, and cultural unity across all campuses.

  • Contribute to the ongoing development and health of the church as a whole.
